Breathing Takes Up Space

2015

For a total of one hour, I exhaled each breath into a paper balloon, leaving it where I sat and allowing it to build into a scattered pile. Each balloon had the text “One Breath Out Takes Up Space” embedded into it. The balloons were left behind as a remnant of the breath’s presence and space it occupies.
