Static Changing are a series of forty blind gesture drawings of the same thing, compiled in animations

We look at the same things every day but we are always able to see something different. By using blind gesture drawings in the Static Changing animations (a drawing technique where the drawer doesn’t look doesn’t look down at the drawing they are making, using a continuous line from start to finish) it is possible to focus attention completely on the subject. Even when the same thing is drawn forty times, it is different every time. When layered together consecutively, they vibrate and move around the drawing surface. What seems static is always changing because we are different at every moment we observe something.
