Lola Coffee Horizon drawing, 9″ x 12″, ink and pen on paper
Looking through a window, the horizon line isĀ framed instead of being open. The breath or air leaks out over the top as it tries to push through the constraints. The breath also grows larger as it reaches the top of the boundary. I sat at the coffeeshop, waiting for a friend to meet me. She couldn’t arrive because of family trouble. It seemed useful to mark the moment because, why not mark any moment?
